West Point Soccer Club

Child Safety is our priority

West Point Soccer Club is fully committed to child safety and well-being.

We provide a safe, inclusive environment where every child is protected, supported, and empowered. Our policies ensure a consistent and proactive approach to child safety, with involvement from everyone: players, coaches, volunteers, and families.

We adhere to the Child Safe Standards under the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 (VIC) and the guidelines of Football Victoria. Our commitment includes:

  • Working with Children Checks (WWCC) for all volunteers and coaches (policy here)
  • A zero-tolerance policy on bullying, discrimination, and harassment
  • Mandatory reporting of any concerns
  • Age-appropriate education and communication
  • Ongoing review of our Child Safety policies

If you ever have a concern, please speak with our Child Safety Officer or a member of our Committee. We are here to listen, support, and take action.
